Privacy Policy

What this site collects

This site does not run advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking. We collect only what you type into our forms, plus basic server logs:

• Contact form. Name, work email, company, topic, and your message.
• Checklist and template request forms. Name, work email, and company.
• Chat widget. If you use the chat assistant, the messages you send there, so we can respond and follow up.
• Server logs. IP address, request time, and pages requested, kept for security and operations.

Forms also include a hidden spambot field and basic abuse checks (request rate per IP, how long the form was open before submitting). These run to keep bots out; they are not used to profile you.

How we use it

Only to respond to you, deliver the document or information you asked for, and communicate about a possible engagement. If you ask for the exam checklist or a policy template, we email it to the address you provided. We do not sell, rent, or share your information for advertising. We do not build profiles or send marketing you did not ask for.

Who else touches it

• AWS hosts this site and delivers our email (Simple Email Service).
• Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces from their CDN.
• The chat widget is a Cloudflare Worker operated by NTD Consulting.

These providers process data only to deliver their own service. We share your information outside of this only when the law requires it or when it is necessary to protect someone's safety or legal rights.

Cookies

The pages on this site set no advertising or tracking cookies. The chat widget may store a small amount of functional state in your browser so the conversation continues across pages. You can clear it in your browser settings at any time.

Retention

We keep form submissions and related email for as long as useful for the business relationship and for record-keeping, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a bounded operational period.

Your rights

Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. Email from us is never sold, and we do not process your data for targeted advertising, so the related opt-out rights are largely moot here — but if you want any of the above, contact us and we will handle it within the time the law allows.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form handling runs behind a Web Application Firewall configuration, and access is limited to NTD Consulting personnel. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if a breach affecting your information ever occurs, we will notify you as state law requires.

Children

This site is directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
